Sour Patch kids are officially releasing bags that are filled with only Blue (Blue Raspberry) or Red (Cherry) for a limited time at select 7-11 locations. 

While you're undoubtedly asking yourself, "But Pepper, what about the other flavors? Where are the Pink (Watermelon), the Orange (Orange), the Yellow (Lemon), the Green (Lime), or the Purple (Grape) bags? Those are the bags that I want!", my answer to you is that you're wrong. Those are not good flavors and don't deserve their own bag. 

Red and Blue, however, deserve this. They've earned it. They've been doing all the heavy lifting in this bag for years. When's the last time you were sitting in a movie and grabbed a Purple Sour Patch Kids and said "yessssssss" to yourself quietly? See what I mean?

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Sour Patch kids announced: “Ask and you shall receive. Blue & Red packs available for a limited time at 7-Eleven!”

So just now I marched down from our office in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle to check it out for myself.

Excitedly I rushed past the lunch crowd buying all sorts of gross shit from the "hot bar" and made my way to the candy aisle, and what do I see? This bullshit:

This is normie stuff. I want red, I want blue, BUT I DON'T WANT THEM TOGETHER. 

I reached to Sour Patch Kids for an official statement via Facebook Messenger (where all serious business is conducted), but have yet to hear back from them. 

Anyway, if you happen to be around a 7-11 go see if they have them and report back will ya?
